Chiara Banchini is one of the world’s leading baroque violinists. Her technique is astounding, creating an electrifying and seductive experience on her seventeenth century violin. She leads the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in a programme of beautiful baroque masterpieces. Andreas Scholl has charmed audiences around the world with his lyrical, beautiful countertenor voice. He makes his Festival debut with the ethereal and soaring lines of Vivaldi’s solo motet Stabat Mater.
