A minute’s walk from the giant displays on the Omni Centre, Greenside Place is the Edinburgh Playhouse, where Festival fans can buy tickets now for all Edinburgh International Festival 2007 shows.

The famous Edinburgh theatre hosts a superb EIF dance programme this summer – including the world premiere of high energy work Ride the Beast from acclaimed choreographer Stephen Petronio, made for Scottish Ballet and set to music by Radiohead, and the Festival debut of New York based Trisha Brown Dance Company performing the work of their legendary eponymous founder and choreographer

Compagnie Montalvo-Hervieu bring hip hop, belly dancing and ballet against a spectacular backdrop of flying elephants, swimming tigers and statues that come alive to Edinburgh in On Danse.
