- Nederlands Dans Theater began its three-night run on Thursday, to a rapturous reception from audience and critics alike. The Herald said ‘Judging by the ecstatic response from an audience of more that 2000… the opening piece.. alone would have been worth the price.’ Ends tonight at 7.30pm at The Edinburgh Playhouse. Tickets are still available.
- Platform, directed by Calixto Bieito and adapted from Michel Houellebecq's controversial novel, concludes its run at the Royal Lyceum Theatre at 7.30pm. To get a taster of the production, have a look through our gallery of images.
- Chekhov's Three Sisters, as realised by the acclaimed Polish director Krystian Lupa, plays at the King’s Theatre at 7.00pm.
- Die Zauberflöte sees its second and final sold-out performance at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre at 7.15pm. 50 Turn Up and Try It tickets will be available on the door from an hour before the performance begins, for only £10.
- A concert performance of Wagner's epic opera Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg begins at 5pm at the Usher Hall. This is also sold out, but as ever, fifty Turn Up and Try It tickets will be available at the venue from an hour before the performance.
