Blackbird nominated for Best New Play award

David Harrower's Blackbird has been nominated for Nick Hern Books Best New Play in the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers' Choice Awards.

These awards are voted for entirely by the general public so if Blackbird was one of your highlights then make sure you vote now!

This powerful story of love, longing and betrayal was commissioned by the Edinburgh International Festival and premiered to acclaim at the 2005 Festival, before transferring to the Albery Theatre in London's West End.

Directed by the legendary Peter Stein, with stellar performances from the award-winning Jodhi May and Roger Allam, Blackbird was a hit with audiences and critics alike.
